Ya Think, Peggy?

Read former Reaganite Peggy Noonan's latest at the WSJ:

America Is at Risk of Boiling Over

When aging celebupundits such as Noonan begin to smell torches and hear the hammers busy assembling scaffolds, the hour is indeed late.

Remember this load of bollocks re your man-child Candidate?

***
...The case for Barack Obama, in broad strokes:
He has within him the possibility to change the direction and tone of American foreign policy, which need changing; his rise will serve as a practical rebuke to the past five years, which need rebuking; his victory would provide a fresh start in a nation in which a fresh start would come as a national relief. He climbed steep stairs, born off the continent with no father to guide, a dreamy, abandoning mother, mixed race, no connections. He rose with guts and gifts. He is steady, calm, and, in terms of the execution of his political ascent, still the primary and almost only area in which his executive abilities can be discerned, he shows good judgment in terms of whom to hire and consult, what steps to take and moves to make. We witnessed from him this year something unique in American politics: He took down a political machine without raising his voice...

Savor that smell, Peggy.

You and the other Big Government RINOs have earned every bit that is coming towards you.

  1. Just beginning to wake up, I see. She and the other WSJ hacks still don't get that we have sent illegals back over the border twice (FDR and Eisenhower), and we could do it again. But as we all know, the elite want their cheap labor force to keep coming in, with the hope of one day creating new voters already bought off by entitlements.

  3. How rhapsodic they waxed over a Chicago insider, trained and groomed in the midst of one of the most infamous corrupt governments in our country.
    What did they expect?

  4. "When the adults of a great nation feel long-term pessimism, it only makes matters worse when those in authority take actions that reveal their detachment from the concerns—even from the essential nature—of their fellow citizens. And it makes those citizens feel powerless.

Inner pessimism and powerlessness: That is a dangerous combination."

Peggy mistakes determination, caution, preparation, and patience with "powerlessness". That's an error too common with the self-identified "intelligentsia".

    Cheers.

  5. She doesn't seem all that critical of Obongo, since she has probably spent a great deal of time on her knees under his desk. In regards to Obongos' good judgement in hiring, some of the communists he has hired already have blood on their hands. And he took down a political machine that was corrupt and full of crap to begin with. She reminds me a of Roman matron, seeing smoke far off on the horizon, and absent mindedly saying, "Well, that's either Vesuvius, or Spartacus, I don't know which".

  9. Lil' Peggerz' wail is representative of the mindset of the Right-wing patricians, & as such she'll likely be one of those who (along w/ Gush Bombast/Sean 'Pretty Boy' Hannity/'Preacher' Beck/Hiz Oyrish Majesty O'Reilly/similar self-appointed 'leaders' of the conservative movement) can be counted on to keep pushing the line that active revolt (by the 'little people') against the oligarchs is @ best unwise & unnecessary & @ worst treason. No matter how bad things get for the rest of the populace economically, socially, & legally, they'll keep telling us that "now is NOT the time to take up arms" against what even they describe as an outright dictatorship worthy of being overthrown, that "there are better ways for correcting the situation like the soap box & the ballot box", that "violence ISN'T the answer/doesn't work/is unAmerican", & that such action "will only serve to justify an even harsher response from the govt & be used to demonize those who champion TRULY important issues" like taxes & abortion. Then they'll join w/ the very monster they claim to hate & urge "all REAL Amurracunz who LUV their country & what it stands for to reject the hate filled siren song of the forces of anarchy & mindless violence & work PEACEFULLY to resolve our differences thereby showing the world that our BELOVED Amurracuh is indeed the best place on Earth".

And the barking seals who comprise their respective audiences will nod their heads in collective agreement w/ their chosen 'leader' & get busy becoming 'patriotic', 'sanctified' Quislings.
