So tell me again how if the 'right people' (like 'Terrible' Ted Nugent/similar) are elected to the N.R.A. board things'll REALLY change. That mantra pops up every time a rebellion appears to be on the horizon & when it proves to be just talk or in extremis has to be co-opted by a sudden burst of public responsiveness to the membership's complaints, it once again fades away until the next time.
Looks like the Obama cultists & the Left aren't the only ones afflicted w/ 'hopey/changey syndrome'.
And I thought that "fuck a duck" was just an expression. And the NRA doesn't even use K-Y. Well, I for one will not bend over for any more surprises. Thank God for the GOA.
The NRA would have suggested surrendering the powder and shot in Lexington, Concord and Boston and fighting it in court -- the KING's court -- and we'd be celebrating the queen's birthday instead of July 4th. Remember Bill Doss. Remember "No NRA member would be part of a militia." "From my cold dead hands" is a money-making slogan. To actually MEAN it would offend people. Invitations to Washington cocktail parties would decline.
