David Hardy of Arms & the Law gets the hat-tip for this item:
More proof of the irreconcilable political/cultural rift in America, courtesy of FBI Director Robert Mueller.
State Security Director Mueller said the following re the Heller case on Thursday:
***
Robert Mueller said he tends to believe that "weapons harm people, and more often than not they harm the people carrying them."
Mueller said the high court's decision, which threw out a handgun ban in Washington, D.C., "does throw a lot of things up in the air."

To understand the real import of this statement, substitute any other civil right for gun possession in this story.
And this is the agency responsible for Waco, Ruby Ridge, and other debacles....

ReplyDeleteArrogance is a particularly dastardly shade of pride and self-righteousness. Particularly bad is the fact that this individual is in a leadership position.
ReplyDeleteToo bad his boss hasn't taken the high road and fired him... If he hasn't fired him by now, especially with the attrocities he's committed under his belt, it ain't very likely.
However, Pride cometh before destruction.
Let's hope the destruction is all on Mr. M and those of the FBI (and the other alphabets) that choose this attitude and not on our Great Republic.
God have mercy on the citizens of this country and our Republic. Give our leadership the wisdom to respect and honor the Constitution and the Natural rights of men and women.
